WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Home prices climbed a seasonally adjusted 0.6% in January, and increased 6.5% from the same period in the prior year, the Federal Housing Finance Agency reported Thursday. The data is compiled using only mortgages backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
